My practice explores the potential ways to capture my urban loneliness. It depicts the ways my subconscious is affected by my forbidden desires within a traditional Chinese background. The aim when creating my works is to break the cultural narrative of a globalised generation without the pressure to define oneself. I want the rawness of my materials to subtlety suggest romance and desperation.
