Based in the Eora Nation, Yanti Peng is an interdisciplinary artist that works across 3D, photography and creative direction. Often hybridising the varying disciplines, facilitating her strategic blur of binaries. Her practise interrogates anthropological subjects through a documentative focus. Lying in the hospital bed, not much else I am able to do. The howl, a resigned sigh, the mechanical beeps, a weary tear roll down my eye.
The installation piece depicts trickling thoughts whilst in the emergency room. Flickers of fragmented memories, yearning for the mundane.
